Please consider these statements:
“Do you know what prayer is? It is not begging God for this and that. PRAYER IS GOD’S DIVINE DYNAMO.
THE SPIRIT OF MAN IS GOD’S DIVINE DYNAMO.
When you go to pray, that spirit of yours gets into motion – – not ten thousand revolutions, or one hundred thousand thousand. The VOLTAGE OF HEAVEN comes to your heart, and it FLOWS THROUGH YOUR HANDS, it burns into the souls of men, and God Almighty moves on their behalf.”
Dynamo: A generator, especially one for producing direct current.
We are speaking of a spiritual mechanic here. Do you notice the words, ‘generator’, ‘direct current’?
Get the spiritual picture of what happens when a person prayes an ‘effectual, fervent prayer’, (James 5:16).
This is a Tesla coil – it is pulling electricity from the air.
Your spirit is the same. It is a generator, like a Tesla coil. When you pray (without the whine of a beggar), you pull God’s Spirit and power directly from the unseen world (spirit world, pneuma-world), and it manifests in the seen world.
The spirit that you have been given, along with your soul and body, are capable of inter-dimensional activities. Your spirit and soul, which are alive in the pneuma-world, release that dimension into this four dimensional world through the physical body in which you (the spirit/pneuma) live.
Let’s look at James 5:16b in closing:
Young’s Literal: very strong is a working supplication of a righteous man;
Weymouth: The heartfelt supplication of a righteous man exerts a mighty influence.
And the one I like best:
Amplified: The earnest (heartfelt, continued) prayer of a righteous man makes tremendous power available [dynamic in its working].
Pray saints, pray. Give your spirit man, God’s dynamo within you a change to bring that ‘direct current’ of God’s Power into this world.
